Thank you so much to @penguinbooksya for the #gifted copy and extra goodies ā™„ļø

This book is a complete work of art!😭 It took me from giggling & gushing to a crying, sobbing mess at 12am. 😭 It's so beautiful! I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. The below quote from the book sums it up perfectly:

"It was beautiful. But it was sad too. Both things, and at the same time. I don't know why so much of life is like that."

Evie Thomas no longer believes in love, so she decides to get rid of all of her well loved romance books. In the process, she meets an old woman in her neighbourhood & finds herself going back home with a copy of Instructions for Dancing in her possession in the place of her romance books. Shortly afterwards, she starts getting visions of couples' relationships when she sees them kissing, including how the relationships end. She goes to the dance studio listed on the book - La Brea Dance Studio, to find a way to stop the visions, but she finds so much more.šŸ’•

"Love is too small, too singular a word for the feeling it's trying to hold. Just one word isn't enough, so I want to use them all. Sometimes I think love is the reason language was invented."

Once again, this book was beautiful! It had such deep messages about forgiveness, love, friendship, family & heartbreak. I fell in love with the characters & the character development was incredible, as well as the relationships between the characters. I loved seeing Evie open her heart & work on her relationships with everyone around her & grow into such a strong, forgiving, brave & wise character.

There’s so many lessons one can take away from this book! There are so many meaningful & relatable quotes too - my favourites are in my latest reel.šŸ’•

I'd love to see this as a movie! Just so that it can break my heart once again. Highly recommend! ā™„ļø

"If you get very, very lucky in this life, then you get to love another person so hard and so completely that when you lose them, it rips you apart. I think the pain is the proof of a life well lived and loved."
